HomeBridge Youth Society employs 133 people across a variety of professions (99.4 Full Time Equivalents).

Professions Include:

• Youth Care: 106 employees


• Maintenance: 5 employees


• Administration: 3 employees


• Food Services: 4 employees


• Clinical: 6 employees (Including: Education, Psychology, Social Work and Youth Care)


• Management: 17 employees

In addition, employees are:

• Regular contributors to the Child and Youth Care Network (CYC-Net), a World Wide Child and Youth Care forum for discussion and publication.


• Trainers of Emergency First Aid/CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Suicide Intervention, Anger Management and Conflict Education.


• Members of the Nova Scotia Council for the Family, Youth in Care Committee and Legislative Review Committee.


• Members and Executive members of the Nova Scotia Child and Youth Care Association, and the Nova Scotia Association of Social Workers.


• Presenters at Provincial, Regional and National conferences.
