HomeBridge Youth Society honoured by the Better Business Bureau as one of the finalists for the 6th Annual Maritime Business Ethics Awards in the category – non-profit!

HomBridge is honoured to have been chosen as one of three finalists for the Maritime Business Ethics Awards.

The Better Business Bureau of the Maritime Provinces presented the 6th Annual Maritime Business Ethics Awards on November 24, 2010. This event is an effort to recognize businesses with high ethical and professional standards and HomeBridge was nominated in the category of non-profit. HomeBridge was very proud to be recognized along side of such hardworking and life changing organizations as Feed Nova Scotia and L’Arche Cape Breton, who took home the honour.

The Better Business Bureau created these awards to acknowledge that some businesses go far beyond the average in maintaining high standards of ethical behavior. They do what is right and fair, without questions, and without compromise. The Maritime Business Ethics Awards gives public recognition to these businesses in the Maritime Provinces. Awards are given in five categories covering organizations from non profit to those with over 100 employees.

It is such an honor to be recognized for our work, and we can't think of a greater compliment than to be recognized for our business ethics. At the end of the day, it is one of the most important components, next to reaching our vision of all youth and their families living in health, safety and harmony.
