Our Heros
Photo Galleries

Each picture in this gallery represents a story in time. A story of a life that has overcome obstacles, and dreams of hope for the future. A story that releases emotions and speaks to the talents within. In many ways, this gallery is a scrapbook of memories for the youth in our care, as they move forward on their journey in life.

ART CLASSES
Art classes are one of the core components of the Expressions Program of the Arts. Sessions take place in all HomeBridge facilities and have guided the youth through everything from traditional drawing, painting and sculpting, to silk screening, sewing, pottery and jewelry making. Each year of the Expressions program is facilitated under a new theme which is used to broaden the youth's experience and encourage them to learn about different cultures, try new mediums and find their own inspiration.

RECREATION & LEISURE PROGRAM
Youth in HomeBridge facilities are encouraged and supported to get involved in community leisure activities, sports and recreation. Youth-in-care are often well behind their peers when it comes to recreational and cultural experiences. These activities broaden the youth's experience and help them to find a sense of belonging while gaining valuable life skills. For this reason we make every effort to get them connected with age-appropriate, positive activities. This also helps to create some "normalcy" in an abnormal living situation and provide them with coping mechanisms to take with them when they move on from the HomeBridge Community.

Most of all, it's fun, challenging and cooperative.
